1. What information we collect

When you use StayySorted, we may collect:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number
  • Enquiry details — destination city, university, budget, move-in date, room preferences
  • Communication records — messages sent via WhatsApp, email, or our contact forms
  • Usage data — pages visited, browser type, device (collected automatically via analytics tools)

We do not collect payment card details. Payments are made directly to property providers.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your accommodation enquiry and provide our service
  • To share relevant property options matching your preferences
  • To communicate with you about your enquiry via your preferred channel
  • To improve our service and understand how students use our website

3. Sharing your information

We may share your information with:

  • Property partners — only when you ask us to check a specific property or help with a booking. Website enquiries are first sent to our CRM and are not automatically forwarded to accommodation providers.
  • Service providers — including our CRM platform and analytics tools, which process information on our behalf

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Draft form data

Our enquiry form saves your progress locally in your browser (localStorage). This data stays on your device and is not sent to us until you submit the form. The data is checked for expiry when you revisit the form — if more than 7 days have passed since it was saved, it is cleared automatically. You can also clear it at any time using the "Clear saved details" link on the form.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months so we can assist with your accommodation if needed. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@stayysorted.com.

7. Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies for functionality and analytics cookies to understand usage. Analytics cookies do not identify you personally. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date.
